The brief

Everyday scenes for GQ

Set design in Dubai for a Casio shoot with GQ. Sport, baking, chess and reading give the watches a series of everyday settings.

What we did

We arranged props and surfaces around each activity: a poster wall for basketball, a flour-covered worktop for baking, and tables, seating and wood panelling for the other scenes. Each composition leaves the watch visible within the action.

The result

The finished story moves between full portraits and close views of the hands, connecting the watches with the activities around them.
